I’ve been wanting to share this for a while.
I came from the road rally world. Supercars, speed… the kind of driving that makes you truly ‘feel’ something, while exploring new roads and enjoying meals in a unique destination with good friends.
And somewhere in all of it, I had a realization: ɪ ᴡᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀꜱᴛᴀɴᴅ ᴍᴏʀᴇ ᴛʜᴀɴ ᴊᴜꜱᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ʀᴏᴀᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴀʀ... ɪ ᴡᴀɴᴛᴇᴅ ᴛᴏ ꜰᴜʟʟʏ ʟᴇᴀʀɴ ᴄᴀʀ ᴄᴏɴᴛʀᴏʟ.
So I started spending more time at the track. And I was humbled fast. The math, the physics, the strategy, the car control. It was a whole discipline I hadn’t appreciated. I started taking 1:1 lessons, and that changed everything. Having a pro coach showed me how much was possible when someone was actually teaching you with safety and fun in mind.
I also started thinking about the other women I knew from road rallies. Women driving incredible machines who wanted to actually understand them. Women who were hungry to improve but didn’t have a real entry point onto the track. So I decided to create one: high-end hospitality events with pro coaches from @trackrekord built to bridge that gap.
