This is more than a ceremonial return.
This is about long-term impact over symbolism.
Together with
@bsnsports_surge and
@itsthezone , we delivered a sustainable programming that supports performance, mindset, identity, and wellness for both men’s and women’s student-athletes.
With my passion for women’s sports & leadership. I want to build a strong foundation for coaching and women’s empowerment.
So, we took the initiative to support Alcorn’s women student-athletes that receive complimentary athletic gear, personalized nutrition guidance, mental health and leadership development resources. I’m proud to serve as Chief Motivational Officer for a program that is intentionally elevating women’s sports within the global & HBCU ecosystem.
We all know the importance of Mental Health.
So this was a key factor in support the male student-athletes.
In partnership with The Zone Mental Health, we launched a confidential platform connecting male student-athletes to licensed mental health professionals. That addressing anxiety, depression, and performance pressure while helping remove stigma in college athletics.
