Today I pay my respects to one of my best friends, my brother, my teammate, supporter, a father, a loving son, and overall great person. Never in a million years thought I would be crying over this post for you and I have no idea how Iāll be able to watch what all you have been a part of since I directed my very first film. You were the one that always believed in me, you said I was going to be the one to make us richā¦ Iām glad I was able to get that love from you bro. Iām hurt. #LLJP

A 6-day shoot of long days, problem solving in real time, and finding ways to make every scene work no matter the circumstances.

Every vision sounds clearā¦ until itās time to prepare for it.
Scripts being printed, bags being packed, details coming together piece by piece ā trying to make sure everyone walks into the story already feeling it.
And then thereās the parts nobody seesā¦
running out of toner mid-print, making last-minute adjustments, figuring it out as you go.
All while still showing up in real life; being present, being family, holding my nephew in one arm and building this in the other.
Thatās the reality of doing it on your own. Not everything is perfect but the intention has to be.
