As I become more in tune with my drag I’ve realized that every queen usually has something they create whether that be costumes, hair, jewelry, etc. With most of my drag I try to create something that no one else has. This has lead to lots of sketches for costumes and jewelry. I’ve been wanting more jewelry so I sent some sketches to a few different drag jewelers and most didn’t act interested. One even completely blocked me because I demand perfection, but I wasn’t giving up. I decided to take the plunge and try making the design myself. Down the rabbit hole I went learning about all the different types of stones, shapes, sizes, techniques, and supplies. After dropping some $$$ on everything I’m well established into making my own jewelry… Ionica Jewels because they’re iconic! So this brings me to my first piece (see the sketch) it’s inspired by a flower and finished in crystal AB stones by Swarovski and Preciosa!

Let the clownerie begin… here’s a new eye shape inspired by @trixiemattel 💕 I have naturally small eyes so I loved I was able to give an illusion of bigger eyes… one of my favorites so far! One of the biggest struggles I’ve had is finding suitable eye shapes because of my hooded eyes. Recently I spent a few hours drawing potential eye shapes on my iPad. I’ll be trying more of them in the coming weeks! New wigs, jewelry, costumes, and IcONIC drag coming soon!
