Sober Thoughts Day 270 — Sobriety changed my life in every way. And even though I don’t struggle with addiction.. it has still been hard to quit.
Drinking is engrained is everything we do.
And having a social life where alcohol is centered just doesn’t hit like it used to.
You quickly realize how lame shit is when alcohol isn’t involved.
BUT, surprisingly, I have a bigger social life now than when I was drinking.
I’m doing more things, having new experiences, and meeting so many amazing people.
I’ve recentered the SOCIAL part of my social-life and decentered alcohol.
