You’ve heard me talk about over a dozen canned Mai Tais I have tried. They’re usually too sweet, not boozy enough, off flavors. Almost like the people who are making them have never had a good Mai Tai. Well, this one is quite good. Nice citrus, with noticeable flavor of aged dark rum. You can taste the orgeat. Happy Birthday Chicago! What better way to celebrate than with a trip to our very own Upside Down?!

Have you found yourself lost on Lower Wacker? Seen it used as a movie set in Batman? Gotten your car towed?? The iconic Blues Bothers movie just celebrated 45 years.
Chicago’s stories are so intertwined. Charles Wacker was the director of the 1893 World’s Fair (see my Ferris Wheel episode) and is buried in Graceland Cemetery (check out the Halloween edition!).
As a young bike messenger we would use Lower Wacker as a shortcut through the city, which seems (and was) insane looking back…
