My first car when I was 17yo was an 89 Hatch. I remember going to @risky_devil meets all throughout Chicago with my best friend Jamal. Since then, I’ve always had this dream of building a perfect red hatch. And that’s exactly what this car is. 18 years later I’ve built my 17yo self’s dream schassis. Risky Devils sparked the vision and while I did have Jamal, no one else was into this stuff. The rest of my friends were big Honda guys (which I also thoroughly enjoyed). This is what inspired the VVL SR. A pipe dream away at 17 lol. But here we are… proud and accomplished. I’m so thankful for my friends and what drifting has brought to my current adult life. I love you all so much.

I went back to Japan, rented a 180sx from @alphaprojectimports.jp , then hit TKL and Bihoku. @s15_alpha is on the hunt for a permanent car there now for me. I don’t think you can beat the driving there 😍
