We have made the extremely difficult decision decision to close down the coffee shop after an amazing 7 year run. This Sunday, May 3rd, will be our last day. Long story short, we took a big risk last year hoping to expand our business by opening a bigger space. Unfortunately that project falling through was the beginning of our downfall. Projections were looking really good but a few unexpected expenses have put us in a position that we can’t sustainably keep going. We wish we had been able to give more notice. Small businesses are incredibly hard to keep alive and we’ve done our best but this is the end of the road. We are asking folks to come by this weekend to enjoy a last drink, share fond memories and help us raise money for the staff. Our goal is to raise enough money so that the team will have a cushion to support themselves as they search for new employment. This is obviously the worst news ever and we wouldn’t be making this decision if we hadn’t exhausted all resources and tried every idea and avenue to keep things going. Our staff is amazing, please send us a DM if you know of any places hiring so that we can get these beautiful humans back on their feet quickly.
