Been working quietly on some stuff to get through the burnout, and finally took the new camera for a test drive today (thank you to @eyeofuatu and @onesix_shooter for their help and recommendations on equipment!) I’ve been wanting to do some Halo inspired customs for a hot minute and did a full repaint on a TUSCC body here to homage the “chimera” color way in halo infinite. Mark V head is repainted from a jazwares head. All glowing effects are practical / fluorescent paints. Hobby Day 217/365. This is partly a LBC. Only thing I did was add some paint to the black knight helmet cross. Was messing around with some new figures I got from @four_horsemen_studios and thought, what if Sir Godfrey had a brother who was a dark Templar? So that’s where this was born from. Inspired by my younger brother, Sir Geoffrey is part sir Girard, park black knight legion builder and part Vallak. Diorama base was a gift from @grk_steli0s0 he was kind enough to send me as an extra in the MAFC giveaway I won from their painting academy.
Appearances are deceiving. While he has aligned with the Dark Templar order, Sir Geoffrey is every bit his brothers equal and in many ways, his superior. His physical prowess and skills in combat, tracking and hunting set him apart from many in the order. He strictly abides by his own moral code, judging none, but fiercely defending those who are vulnerable. If Sir Godfrey is the the face of the Templar Order, then Sir Geoffrey is it’s heart, influencing all he comes into contact with.
Hobby Day 26/365. A custom homage character is finally completed that I’ve been working on. The sword and headsculpt were both sculpted by @emil.wickman and purchased from @wolf_king_customs using parts from @four_horsemen_studios sir owain and Vorthogg figures.
“Optime Priem” is an unknown entity on Mythos. The presumed warlock has been going from village to village, ransacking any prisoner holdings and setting free anyone who is in bonds or captivity. He pays no attention to why they are there, he is solely focused on releasing them. Those who have witnessed him set free some of the foulest wretches in the land are appalled by his behavior, while others who have seen loved ones returned after years of false imprisonment are hailing him as a liberatir for the downtrodden. No one has seen him remove his helm, though his unique armor makes him stand out above anyone else in the land. The strange symbol on his shield has been a call to arms, and more and more are now taking it up. Anyone who bears this mark has been instructed to only utter one thing in response to why they free the imprisoned. “Freedom is the right of all sentient beings”. Optimus voice has an accent no one can place and his eyes glow and unnatural blue from his helmet. Several people have sworn that a magic axe springs from his hand and his hand disappears when he is engaged in liberating combat. One thing is for certain, if anyone is oppressing any other species in this land, the Priem will be paying them a visit.
This is an homage to Generation 1 iteration of Optimus Prime who appears in my Mythoss universe as “Optime Priem”.

Shortly after one of everyone's favorite Gregs ( @newtomythics ) had me and @this_is_nickstagram on his show post Legionscon 2024, we started talking about painting, customs and the process. Greg had wanted to start on a Mr. And Mrs. Unkann tribute, but found himself pressed for time to do so in the manner he wanted. I offered to do it for him since I was getting ready to start my Legionscon 2025 prep anyways and he sent his box of parts on their merry way. About 14 months later (did I mention 2025 was crazy difficult for me between injuries and scheduling?) The Unkann family is currently on their way to Greg's house to start their matrimonial bliss. Greg told me to "go wild with whatever you think is best" and since Legacies of Mythoss has since been released from our initial conversation, that was the vein I tried to follow. Not a straight re-up, but an enhancement / upgrade. Unkann 2.0 has a few extra bells and whistles, more details painted on, and clearly hit the arm day hard at times....or something. Mrs. Unkann has a bit more flair to her style, but she's also pretty simplistic when it comes to weaponry, using Greg's favorite accessory, a spear, to finish the job. Thanks for trusting me with this project Greg and hope you like them! At the end of @legionscon 2024, my table neighbor @defendersofeden came over to me and said “I’ve got a blank for you, I’ve heard great things about you and I wanna see what you can do.” It was a supremely humbling and amazing moment for me, coming from slapping paint on stuff indiscriminately during the pandemic trying to figure things out to being asked to do this. The Defenders of Eden toy line (sculpted by the incomparable @four_horsemen_studios ) is a wonderful line and I love each figure in it, and I greatly appreciate Matt and @tbolles113 in particular for lobbying on my behalf (unbeknownst to me!).
