Did you know that Ikutaro Kakehashi and Dave Smith co-developed the MIDI protocol? the same digital interface we use to this day… that enables us to interconnect analog gear from the early 80’s to modern drum machines and computers. Dave Smith and Bob Moog get the proper love they deserve for being absolute visionaries, we should talk more about Kakehashi-san, Roland is the greatest Synthesizer manufacturer in the history of humans. period. my opinion obvs. see u this weekend!! i play an oberheim teo-5 now it kicks ass. bye
