5. Split squats - builds REAL single leg strength and power
6. Sled sprints - increase speed, power, and stamina without destroying your joints

This is what finally helped me grow my glutes AND relieve my knee pain 👇🏼
Lateral band walks may look simple… but they’re one of the most underrated moves in your routine.
Once I started doing these consistently, everything changed:
- my glutes actually started contributing (not just quads)
- my knees stopped caving in during squats and lunges
- knee pain went away
- my lower back felt stronger and more stable
Here’s how you should be doing them:
1. Stay in an athletic stance
2. Keep your toes forward
3. Control your steps (don’t let the band snap back)
4. Keep tension throughout the movement
Add these into your warm-up or before leg days and you’ll feel the difference. If your knees bother you, your glutes aren’t growing or you just feel unstable when you lift, this is a game changer.
