RePosted @cornerbakery • Our next Nurse winner of Highlight Your Hero is Rose M. from Washington D.C.! Rose was nominated by her very own daughter, Crystal. Described as someone who is hard worker that always puts others first, Rose got up early once COVID hit in March 2020 to go to stores to get different items that were hard to find and gave them to individuals who were unable to go to stores themselves like the elderly and those with health problems. Rose’s church as well as other churches began giving out free groceries, so she would tell everyone she could where they could go to get theirs and would also do pick up and delivery for those who could not go themselves. Once her schools closed during the pandemic, she was redeployed to the Department of Health and she spent her time calling residents who tested positive for COVID and help educate them on what to do and answered any questions they had & scheduled their appointments. Rose, we agree with Crystal, you are very deserving of extra love!
