“Close Encounters” a solo exhibition by @drew_englander opens Wednesday November 12th from 6-8pm!

Drew’s current body of work explores figuration within the realm of magical realism and investigates themes ranging from the quotidian to the occult and clandestine. By drawing on the narrative qualities of history painting as well as the quiet introspection of genre painting and still life, Englander transforms commonplace domestic settings into stages for phantasmic encounters.
