This heartwarming story brings history to life through the eyes of young Clara, who visits Antietam National Cemetery with her father.
As they explore the solemn grounds, Clara learns about the brave soldiers who fought and died during the Civil War, including those whose names are unknown. Through a playful "story game," Clara imagines the life of one such soldier, and in doing so, discovers the true meaning of heroism, sacrifice, and freedom.

We are thankful to the Allegany Arts Council and the team and sponsors at the Mountain Maryland Film Festival in Cumberland MD for the opportunity to screen our film in front of a wonderful audience. "Bandida" took home the award for "Best Short Film".
We are thankful to win four awards at the Content Media Conference including Best Short Film, Best Director (Drew Broadhurst), Best Lead Actress (Vanessa DeSilvio), and Best Justice and Slavery film. Plus $2000 from a very kind company that will be recognized later. Those funds will primarily be donated to anti-trafficking, non-profit organizations.
