A cozy, warm throwback to our December workshop at Space 1026! We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us at @wavylinespress "White Line Block Print" workshop at @space1026 last winter for learning, wood carving, painting, popcorn, and a documentary! #wavylinespress

Here is the artwork I did for last year’s Shad Festival poster art auction in 2025. 🐟 This was created with letterpress printing and watercolor. I’ve really been enjoying participating in this event for the past couple of years and it’s for a good cause.💫 The poster I made last year happened to be my most successful poster that I made so far. I am looking forward to what I end up creating this year and seeing all the other works in Lambertville, this spring!🌸

🌟 Remembering Richie Ilg 🌟 It’s about the anniversary of the loss of my dear friend, Richie Ilg (December 25, 1981 - March 11, 2009). He was not just an incredible musician who could shred on the guitar, but also a truly caring person who always looked out for me and others. Richie stood by me during tough times, especially when I faced challenges in school. He always encouraged me to express myself through art and music, making me feel safe and seen. I miss our time together, the laughter, and the support he offered so freely. Thank you, Richie, for a being such an important part of my life. Your talent and kindness live on in the hearts of everyone who knew you. 🎶💙

Happy Year of the Horse! Today, I visited the horses at Ridley Creek State Park, and they looked like they were wearing cozy sweaters! I took some time to paint and draw one of the horses. They reminded me of Argo, Xena’s horse from the classic series Xena: Warrior Princess in the 90s. Such great memories! Wishing you all joy and good times in this upcoming year! Yaaaayyy! #Pleinair #NoPleinnogain #Xena #YearoftheHorse #FireHorse

🎨 Recently painted a watercolor en plein air of the stunning Diana statue by Augustus Saint-Gaudens at The Metropolitan Museum of Art! 🌙 This half-sized version, cast by E. Gruet in 1894, beautifully captures the essence of the moon goddess. I’m more familiar with the larger version at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, so it was amazing to see this smaller piece up close in the Big Apple! 🗽🍎 ✨I also wrote a haiku inspired by the Diana statue: Looking into glimmer Risking transformation Into a quick buck #Pleinair #Watercolor #Haiku #Diana #NYC

🎄✨ Merry Christmas, friends! 🎉 Sending you all the warmest wishes this holiday season! I wanted to share some magical moments from my recent adventure to the most Christmas-y place on Earth: New York City! I attended an inspiring workshop at The Center for Book Arts @centerforbookarts titled Image Making for Letterpress Photopolymer Crash Course, expertly led by the talented Elizabeth Castaldo @ecastaldo_artandbooks . It was an incredible experience filled with creativity and learning. I enjoyed in the festive spirit of NYC, complete with the dazzling Santas of Santa Con and a delightful blanket of snow. Check out the photos below to see all the joy and excitement! 📸❄️ Wishing you all love, laughter, and light this Christmas! 💖

🌟✨ Feeling incredibly thankful to be a part of the Exquisite Corpse-style animation collaboration, Philly Life, with the Animation Ensemble for the Philly Animation Festival @phillyanimationfest ! I animated a Philly pigeon interacting with a baseball for my part in Philly Life!🎉 An Exquisite Corpse is a creative technique originating from the Surrealist movement, where pieces of art are created collaboratively, often resulting in unexpected and delightful combinations. Influenced by artists like André Breton, participants each contribute a section without knowing what others have created, resulting in a unique and whimsical narrative. The exhibit that featured the innovative collaboration took place in November at Moore College of Art & Design, celebrating animation artistry from Philadelphia and beyond. 🌍🎨 Let’s make magic happen through animation! 🎥💫 #PhillyAnimationFest #ExquisiteCorpse #AnimationArt #Surrealism #Animation
