There really is no words for how grateful I am for these two, and how lucky I am to be their mum.
Spent the day wandering at Myponga Reservoir with the fam, coffee in hand, spotting kangaroos and climbing trees (oh and a healthy dose of wingeing also).
Celebrating a day that felt unattainable for years sometimes still seems surreal. What a blessing motherhood is. Sometimes hard. Mostly chaos. Definitely winging it. But a blessing 💛
Family visit to @wildhandfarm today for their Woolly Wanderers regenerative farm workshop. The adults had just as much fun as the kids- feeding their farm animals, cutting flowers, exploring the land & checking for the chooks eggs. What a special place & a beautiful experience 🐮
Easter 2026.
Egg hunts at home, egg hunts and brunch with neighbours & egg hunts at mums. All of the chocolate, all of the fun, all of the exhaustion and riding one hell of a sugar high.
Scones at big as your head (literally), lavender ice tea, blue fairy wrens eating off the tables and just a blooming lovely time. We love you @emubaylavenderfarm
Seal Bay in KI was an absolute highlight from our recent trip. So many seals & I really resonated with the mum seals laying on the beach with the pups climbing all over them 😂
Day one in @authentickangarooisland was a hoot!
Visits to @cliffordshoney farm for icecream and bee spotting and @emuridgeeucalyptus for lunch. Had to sneak in a cider tasting paddle & the Ki sticky fig salad was amazing. Got acquainted with the local beach for a few hours & can easily say it's one of the best I've seen. Incredibly clear water and perfect swimming for the kids!
4 nights in paradise.
Just returned home from our stay at @thedunes.ki at Island Beach. I found them on airbnb but chose to book direct.
The perfect stay, well appointed & so comfortable. A short walk from an incredible beach & did I mentioned we woke up to kangaroos & wallaby's on the lawn every morning & evening. We counted 25 on our last day- incredible. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in @authentickangarooisland , look no further.
