It really brings light back into your heart when a random stranger does amazing things for you when they dont know you at all. Lesli came to me after watching my reel of Dredd hiking on my personal account. She said that she saw how much Dredd meant to me and wanted to share a picture she drew of us together. I immediately broke down in tears of joy and appreciation. Thank you so much for the beautiful drawing @lesli_artist
It means the world to me.
Thank you so much. You blessed us every moment of your existence. I love and miss you baby boy!!!
Thank you so much for this @outdoorroyalty

This is definitely a post that will be edited as time goes on since we are in a crazy crazy head space at the moment.
Today we put our angel to rest.
Words cannot express this pain.
You were an angel on Earth. You touched everyone you came in contact with.
You blessed us with your life.
To be continued....
Not looking so good.
We've been having issues that we thought were associated with Dredds TPLO surgeries. He has been sobbing for about a month and sometimes giving loud screams out when laying down or getting up from time to time for about the past week.
Last weekend (March 29th 2025) we decided to take him to get a blood test and basic physical in case he had an infection or what not. That came back with the same numbers he's had throughout his life. Some elevated white blood cells and globulan counts. Something the has had all his life. Maybe we should of looked into it sooner but we were always told maybe he has allergies.
Yesterday (April 6th 2025) he was going through a little more than normal and decided enough was enough we are taking him back to his TPLO surgeon to get him checked out. Luckily the surgeon was in since he does his surgeries on Sundays. He was more than happy to take a look at him with the hopes that he could fix the issue.
They ended up putting him under to take some xrays of his legs. The xrays showed his legs were doing perfectly fine from the surgery. So he moved on to take more pictures of his spine and body just in case there were other issues.
Xrays came back and showed a huge tumor on his spine/spinal cord that is the route of his pain and hind lameness. We were told it may have traveled to his lungs (worst case scenario) which is pretty much a death sentence. If it was just at the spine and hadn't traveled to the lungs we could possibly shrink the tumor giving Dredd a better life with less pain and possible better mobility. But there is nothing we can do for the lungs if it has traveled there. That it will only continue to grow.
The surgeon referred us to a oncologist to get a better look at it through a CT scan to hopefully get more answers and the biggest hopes that it hasn't spread to his lungs.
We have an appointment set for this Thursday at the oncologist. Till then we can only love him up, give him pain meds and know that the end is near no matter what.
8 years went by so so so fast. It isnt fair. This is our baby, our love, our everything. An angel on earth.
