2 years ago I said I wanted to get in the movie space, and well…….its time to get my directors chair‼️‼️
It’s official! @thecreativeacademyatl won the @sonyalpha Create Action Grant!! ‼️‼️‼️
With this grant we’ll be able to really enhance our Photography and Film programming for students who are in underserved communities with the lack of resources ‼️‼️
$50,000 towards our programming and $50,000 in @sony equipment YESSIRRRRR‼️‼️
AND we get our own short film‼️‼️‼️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

48 different Students, 13 different schools, and a million different personalities lol, but the ALBUM IS OFFICIALLY DONE AND WILL BE RELEASED TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT‼️
This project has been an incredible hands-on learning experience where students were responsible for creating an entirely original body of work from start to finish.
Throughout this process, students not only wrote, produced, and recorded music, but also worked through many of the real-world business practices involved in developing and releasing a professional music project. This included collaboration, branding, rollout planning, production scheduling, marketing concepts, cover art development, and understanding the release process used throughout today’s music industry.
One of the most unique and creative elements of this project is the album artwork itself, which features the students’ baby photos as part of the overall concept. It became a fun and meaningful way to reflect both their individuality and growth throughout this experience.
I am extremely proud of the dedication, creativity, teamwork, and professionalism these students demonstrated while bringing this project to life. They spent countless hours collaborating, revising ideas, recording sessions, and learning how to operate as a real creative team.

I’m advocating for HB-14 — a bill that would establish a Georgia Music Office to strengthen the state’s music industry through education, workforce development, and real support where it matters.
HB-14 isn’t just about artists. It’s about the full ecosystem that keeps music alive:
• Restaurants & bars hosting live shows
• Festivals driving tourism
• Churches, schools & community events
• Film & TV productions hiring local talent
The bill has already passed in the Georgia House and Senate and just needs the Governor’s signature before becoming law.
Now it’s on us—fans, venues, and the community to speak up and support the future of music in Georgia. @gamusicpartners #HB14 @govkemp@grammys@atlantaoca
