Let’s take a late summer Hi-Fructose field trip with Octovermellion_Sensai (Veronika Rabinovich) to the sprawling Mass MOcA in North Adams Massachusetts. The numerous interconnected converted industrial buildings are filled with conceptual, immersive and often site-specific works (some which are unable to be captured on film) from dozens of artists through residencies. Look for art works utilizing light projections,sculptures, paint, space, repurposed materials, and cardboard in their galleries, as well as a sound room, filled with drums, harps and bellows.
As a town, North Adams, the smallest city in the state, was known for its semi-conductor business, but now hosts the @massmoca which is the largest contemporary art museum in the United States.
