We’re very happy (and honestly a bit proud) to release this compilation by participants of the Pulsar Sound Lab 2025 series. For some artists, these are their very first finished tracks. For others, the program became the catalyst to return to producing after a long break. It goes to show the richness of talent that emerges from our humble city!
Across the compilation you’ll hear jungle breaks, dubby basslines, acid growls, ambient detours and plenty of hardware and software mischief. Some tracks were made in studios, some in garden sheds, some started on hiking trips, and at least one contains a tiger growl.

Soundtracks to Everyday Life is an intimate, 2-hour workshop-performance by Dream0 where participants transform everyday sounds into a collective, improvised composition.
Using our phones, we record small fragments of daily life, share the stories behind them, and together we weave those sounds into a one-time piece. No music experience required, just curiosity and ears.

Played on two decks for the first time a bit back thanks to @koda_010 as a part of the @designbiennalerotterdam .
I played a blend of ambient, field recordings, contemporary classical, old Bollywood and some moody electronic - perfect for that overcast Thursday afternoon (and for someone who didn’t know how to beat match yet). It was a fun experiment and something I’m going to do more of in the future. The sound was amazing thanks to @db_module
Here I’m layering some @skeemask_official (@ilian_tape skee series 006) on top of “tiney/winey” by kanchan and babla who made like Bollywood influenced soca/calypso - I call it ambient chutney.
