My work captures the emotional and cultural depth of Ethereal R&B, having layered, naturalistic sound effects, soft vocals, and meditative rhythms that can calm and slow the heartbeat. My artistic practice involves repeated listening and visualization of music from various Ethereal R&B artists, through which colours and abjects appear, often taking the form of biblical symbols and spiritually hued auras. By translating this music into visuals, I invite viewers to experience peace, beauty, and protection as gifts from God, while reflecting on the ephemeral nature of life.
