There is a reason why I’m so delayed with my moment-a-day montages this year (apart from the usual bouts of procrastination that continue to consume me). That reason is, I lost someone very close to me during this month, and despite being no stranger to grief, it has been very difficult to reconcile with the fact that she is no longer with us.
Lisa was one of the kindest, funniest and most resilient person I will ever know. It was an absolute privilege and source of immense pride to call her my sister, and I will forever consider her to be one of the greatest inspirations in my life.
With great love for all the friends and family who continue to be there for me and for each other, I dedicate this video to her, as I say… bye bye, butterfly.
