Pada edisi ke-11 di tahun 2026, Synchronize Fest kembali mengajak sosok perupa, ilustrator, designer sekaligus kolaborator untuk membentuk, berdiskusi, berproses sekaligus menyampaikan gagasan festival musik sebagai bagian daripada berbahasa visual dengan publiknya.
Kolaborator kali ini ialah Marishka Soekarna @drawmama , seorang seniman/ilustrator multidisiplin asal Indonesia yang sedang berdomisili di Belanda.
Berlatar belakang pendidikan Seni Murni jurusan Seni Grafis yang sudah lebih dari 20 tahun mengolah bahasa visual melalui berbagai medium. Praktik berkeseniannya melingkup berbagai metode dan medium seperti gambar, lukisan, cetak-mencetak, digital, mural, video dan instalasi.
Pemilihan Marishka Soekarna oleh tim Synchronize Fest dirasa dapat mewakili dan membahasakan keresahan, ketidakpastian dan kekhawatiran kita. Dingin, janggal, familiar tapi tidak akrab, ramai dengan tatap kekosongan, festive namun dengan gestur kegetiran. Visual digambarkan dengan perasaan campur aduk dan ironi rasanya sangat relevan dengan keadaan sosial, ekonomi, dan politik masyarakat Indonesia sekarang ini.
Dalam karya-karyanya, tubuh perempuan kerap dihadirkan sebagai medium bertutur dan merepresentasikan ruang yang intim tempat perjumpaan dirinya dengan memori, refleksi dan reaksi.

It’s not just a festival, it’s a movement!
In a little over a week it’s time for the next Parotia!! Feels like the right time to introduce Cempaka to you, an Indonesian visual artist and music selector based in Amsterdam. She is one half of the music duo Iramamama, known for their eclectic selections from Indonesian music archives.
Rooted in personal memories and deep digging, her selections draw from Indonesian gems of the 1950s–80s, overlooked pop, traditional beats and archipelago boogie, then traveling outward into sounds of funk & soulful disco. Shaped by the 80’s ~ an era she partly live through and carried with her growing up. Her selections often shifts toward darker, more introspective territories through post-punk, synth-pop, and new wave. Her approach is intuitive. She follows feeling, curiosity, and emotional resonance, especially when encountering songs in languages she doesn’t understand. The result is a fluid, genre-blurring listening experience that connects past and present, East and West, memory and mood.
She will play the first few hours at Dick & Dick, enjoy the ride !

Written by Rotterdam-based writer weegbree @marielle_verdijk and illustrated by Indonesian artist drawmama @drawmama , this book unfolds like a quiet allegory—cool, precise, and unsettling. Through fields, classifications, monuments, and rituals, Proof asks an urgent question of our time:
When a society is built to eliminate uncertainty, who becomes intolerable?

《证据村》是一则兼具寓言气质与政治隐喻的当代童话。故事发生在一个高度自洽的农业自治村落：这里以“测量见分晓”为信条，秩序、分类与确定性被奉为最高价值，传统通过制度、习俗与空间规划一代代延续。证据村排斥模糊、偶然与偏差，任何无法被命名、衡量或归类的事物，都会被视为威胁。 祖玛的诞生，正是这种威胁的显现。她外表并无异常，却因一双“蕴含过多不确定性”的眼睛而引发集体不安；她的性别在出生时无法被准确判定，也悄然撼动了村庄赖以维系的统计逻辑与因果秩序。故事并不急于制造戏剧性冲突，而是通过冷静、细密的描写，展示一个看似理性、稳定的共同体，如何在面对无法解释的个体时，逐步显露其排他性与暴力内核。 来自荷兰的写作者Weegbree采用克制而精准的语言，用带有近乎人类学式的观察视角：对田野划分、作物分类、道路结构和公共雕塑的描写层层推进，使“秩序”本身成为一种可被感知的存在。同时，文本又不断在细节中埋下裂缝——松鼠雕塑、风向标、关于灾疫的集体记忆——暗示理性背后潜藏的恐惧与迷信。而插画师Drawmama则通过绘画延展了这种暧昧而不安的氛围，使文本的寓言性更为可触。 总的来说，《证据村》不仅讲述了一个关于孩子、村庄与规则的故事，也提出了更为当下的问题：当社会以消除不确定性为目标时，谁会被视为“多余”的存在？我们又该如何面对那些无法被证明、却真实存在的差异？
