We would like to invite you to the launch night of the Drawing (Paper) Show ‘25 exhibition and the publication of the 10th edition of Drawing Paper on Thursday 10th July at 5:30pm - 8:30pm, RSVP/FREE Tickets via link in bio. Drawing (Paper) Show ‘25 is an exhibition of over 50 drawing artists from around the world, showcasing drawing in all mediums and sizes that sometimes challenge the conventional definition of what drawing is - or can be. The exhibition, which is a part of Liverpool’s Independents Biennial, runs from Friday 11th July until Thursday 31st July (open daily, 12pm - 4pm), is at The Bridewell Studios and Gallery, Liverpool. For those who are unable to attend in person we will also be having a walk through of the exhibition on Instagram Live Thursday 10th July at 6:30pm @drawingpapershow . ​Drawing Paper 10 will be available at the exhibition, and in venues around Liverpool after the exhibition launch. You will also be able to view the paper digitally on our website: (link in bio). Throughout the exhibition we will be running a number of FREE drawing events and workshops, tickets to be released soon. We look forward to seeing you there! Looking back over the Drawing (Paper) Show ‘25 FREE drawing inspired workshops. ********** Capturing Movement (Sunday 13th July) Artist Sophie Thomas and dancer Mohan Welstand Keryk created a large performance drawing to music. Participants will be able to draw from the moving figure with and to contribute to the large drawing. Sophie Thomas @sophiethomas.studio ********** Portrait Drawing with The Liver Sketch Club (Sunday 20th July) A taster workshop was led by Peter Holland, a tutor from the historic Liver Sketch Club who offered tuition on drawing a portrait from a live model. “The Liver Sketching Club is the oldest continuously active art club in England. We have been hosting life and portrait drawing and painting classes in Liverpool since 1872.” The Liverpool Sketch Club @liversketchingclub @yolanda_thalia_art @yola_life_model ********** Drawing Ponies (Sunday 27th July) Workshop attendees were given the chance to draw two ponies from Park Palace Ponies. Park Palace Ponies a "Registered Charity bringing horses and ponies into the heart of Liverpool ".
