Closeness Lines have been making the rounds on the internet again. It always delights and surprises meā like theyāve been pulled off the dusty shelf and passed from friend to friend once more. Thank you to everyone who has sent me kind messages and thoughtful questions about these drawings. For those of you who have been here for a while, I added a few moreāthe cat playing hard-to-get; an ode to all those houseplants; a salute to the grandparents who stay near to us as long as they can. As life moves on you acquire more experiences and, thus, more lines. What a gift it is to be here with you all as that happens.
On a final note, these are in my shop as prints, and I also sell original copies. Your generosity and your desire to support my art always floors me š¤

Itās that time of year when I remind you that a sweet little book about love exists, called Drawn Together. A lot has changed since I wrote it. Iām no longer in my 20s (honestly, good riddance!), my alma mater now offers a š! class on love ! š (shout out to Dr. Bushnell at UW), which Iāve had the pleasure of guest-lecturing at over the last few years. Iāve found a strong, beautiful, music-filled relationship where Iāve grown so much (shout out to my guy @_optimist_prime š¶š¤ ). And though Iām still very much a cracked-dish of a woman, Iāve come to appreciate that about myself. If you have the tendency to roll your eyes around Valentineās Day, I actually think youāll like this book quite a bit. Itās not all sunshine and rainbows, thereās no fairytale ending. A lot of questions, many stories, so much love.
