The backdrop of the series is Daphnée’s parents’ historic Marais apartment on rue Pont-aux-Choux, a place filled to the brim with antiques and silverware. As they spend most of their time in Greece, it’s left to sleep for most of the year, its furniture draped in sheets. In their absence, we let ourselves in and marveled at the piled-up treasures and confronted them with their modern counterparts.
