Yesterday I lost my best friend. Dad, you’re greatest man I’ve ever known. I can’t imagine life right now without you. You taught me to love and forgive like Jesus. You taught me to put God first, and at the end of the day, none of it matters if we don’t have our family. The impact you’ve made on so many lives will live on beyond myself. I’m so proud to carry on your legacy, and I know that you’ll always be with me. I love you.
Nothing brings me more joy than a big ole smile on my baby’s face. We were all so impressed with everything she has learned this year in ballet and what a good little ballerina she is. I am so proud of our Isla Jean, not because of her dance skills but because she worked hard to learn these skills and perform a big 20 minute showcase for an audience with a smile on her face and joy radiating from within. She seemed to love it and THAT is what is celebrated. 👏 Not one, not two but three bouquets of flowers worth AND a pizza party after!!

2 months with this sweet little soul. They say God gives the clingiest babies to the busiest moms in order to cause a slow down. Life is still moving right along but it is my heart that beats at a different pace and causes me to have a new perspective of what is actually important and what can wait.
This little guy is already impacting the world around him in ways only God could have destined and I am just grateful to be one of many who will receive the life giving love of my little Jack Dran Lewis.
I am so in love. Infatuated really. @dranmichael said it best, this baby has just brought me a new level of joy.
Isla being our first was just the greatest thing to ever happen to me and changed me from the inside out. The love I had for her caused an epic level of growth and maturity that was necessary in order to continue on. Jack has been the greatest gift I have received since. His patience and gentle nature remind me of his daddy and obviously his face does too. I cannot wait to get to know him more and more.
The more that I look at the details, the more of your goodness I find. Thank you Lord. 🙏
