Slippery Slope Vol. 4 - the Photo Edition

Slippery Slope is a curated pop-up space for selected art galleries, participating by invitation only. Four contemporary art galleries will present works for a period of six weeks. New galleries will take over the space sequentially. The high cadence and the preselection ensure a great variety and a potential for discoveries. We start our second winter season with a special focus on photography: works at the interface of fashion, film and storytelling, pictures of how we look at the world today, always celebrating photography’s unique tactility, the weight in the hand and the presence on the wall.
This is Slippery Slope - an Alpine Space off-the-beaten-track. The art market is undergoing a major transformation: Galleries are increasingly challenged to explore new models of art mediation outside the conventional framework. Slippery Slope is an alternative space offering a playground: it is humorous, rough, direct, unexpected, passionate, fast, and on the precipice of being uncertain. The routes are ungroomed and unguarded, much like skiing off-piste. CHRISTOPHE GUYE GALERIE, NICOLA VON SENGER, GALERIE STEPHAN WITSCHI and STALLA MADULAIN are kicking off Volume #4 from December 20, 2025, until February 1, 2026.
Ride along on the journey; take on the challenge, be inspired and curious, be weird, be happy, be adventurous. And you will discover unexpected beauty. The exhibitions and events are supported by companies that believe in the power and magic of off-piste art.
