This lovely patient was born missing a single lateral incisor and subsequently the space was closed in childhood with orthodontic treatment.
We opted for composite edge bonding to create overall harmony while subtly camouflaging the canine to improve overall symmetry.

Restylane Kysee is a low viscosity, hyaluronic acid based filler that aims to mimic the soft texture of the lips.
Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that natural occurs in the body, which means it attracts and retains moisture (up to 1000x its weight!!) and to help improve volume to create smoother, fuller lip contours 💋

A single EMAX crown was placed to bring this fabulous smile back to life.
The UL2 was decayed, and previously root treated. We brightened the teeth using @boutiquewhitening_ then opted for a single EMAX crown beautifully crafted by @dencraftdentallaboratory with help of our @iteroscanner to restore both aesthetics and function

Dentures are a wonderful treatment option for missing teeth or gaps and can provide excellent functional and aesthetic outcomes!
According to Public Health England, 73% of the UK adult population have one or more missing back teeth (excluding wisdom teeth) and 1 in 7 people above the age of 16 years wear some kind of denture!
Did you know there are several types of dentures? This wonderful example is a Cobalt Chrome, with teeth constructed on a sturdy, tarnish resistant metal frame work for both improved comfort and support.
This lovely patient was shocked with how comfortable it felt and how it ‘didn’t look as though they were wearing a denture’.
They even said the person that designed it had really put in a lot of effort in the design to make sure the denture is very sturdy and doesn’t rock and lift when they are eating or speaking (but they were even more shocked when I explained I designed it myself 😛)

This lovely patient had not seen the dentist in years due, mainly due to anxiety. What did we want? A natural looking result and restored confidence.
Multiple appointments, lots of compliance with oral hygiene at home and some wonderful lab technicians later and we achieved our wonderful goal! She was over the moon with how many compliments she had gotten from her friends and family!
Nothing makes me happier than watching my patient walk out the door smiling again 🦷✨
