What a treat it is to attend a wedding at a venue close to town or nearby sights, turning the celebration into a full weekend getaway and giving guests plenty of opportunities to unwind and explore. Boothbay Harbor is wonderfully walkable, with a wooden footbridge connecting the east side to downtown. The town offers great restaurants with beautiful views, charming shops, and scenic day cruises. Just a short drive away are the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and some of the best nature preserve trails in Maine.
