All of our tiny postcard-sized songs are officially released today. Tiny Sun has been coming together in the background of all our other endeavours for the past 12 years. This album is an independent release which was made possible by the hand work, mind craft, muscle and sweat of a handful of people who coaxed this music off our hard drives and into the world.
All songs mixed by Nicholas Tjelios. Our beautiful artwork comes from the eye and lens of @the.henrys Don Rooke with artful augmentation by @hug_the_mod and Tiny Sun photography by @gregpacek . Tiny Sun album release was made possible and facilitated by the tireless @pquiddy , @littleempiremusic and @houseofsupercool . We’re so grateful to finally be sharing all of it with you.
We will be performing the entirety of the record live in Toronto with the Royal Conservatory Orchestra on May 14th at @koernerhallrcm , followed by a Dragonette set, with orchestra too!

Our first little postcard of a song is out!
This is the first song from a 12 year musical collaboration between @the.henrys and #jonathangoldsmith .
Over the years we wrote 18, tiny, postcard-sized songs that will all be released on April 24th.
We’ve been passing these songs between us for so many years, it feels surreal that they are on their way to you. This song is a reminder that there is no tech that can compete with the majesty of the nothing that became the Universe and the little twitch of life that became everything we know. Imagination is the engine of evolution.

Art critic @jerrysaltz says ‘all art is experimentation’ . @the.henrys and #jonathangoldsmith wrote a gorgeous intrumental piece for an entire different project. Their experimentation inspired mine and the result inspired 17 more experiments. Somehow the constraint of brevity felt, to all three of us, a vast unexplored terrain. The entire @tinysunmusic comes out next week. Little postcards of music on their way to you.
