The strangest thing about having a showroom inside an old butcher shop? Some people are afraid to enter the back room, as they sense different energies. That space used to be where everything was prepared for sale. I’m pretty sure something was still in the air. I felt it too. That’s why, the first time I entered, I knew the room needed to be cleansed — not only physically, but energetically. I asked around and tried a few rituals to cleanse the space. It took days, a lot of concentration, and patience. Eventually, I felt it naturally shifting. The room felt ready to be worked on. I did the renovations myself. Almost three weeks of deep cleaning every tile. Some days felt lonely, but over time I began to enjoy it, to feel it mine. I was getting familiar with the space, learning its rhythm, its lighthning, imagining how it could be furnished. Slowly, it started to feel familiar. As if I had already seen it before, so many times. A strange, yet an amazing feeling. My space was finally shaping and coming to life, after such a long time. The same feeling I get whenever I find a vintage piece and envision it in a future home was happening to the space as well. Everything was falling into place. The space was coming back to life through the objects — and the objects were finding life again within it. Do not fear anything, come to check the space out, I’d be glad to show you how something that once used to be a place of death, now finds his ways to bring everything on it, back to life.
