Vetruvian Acrobat Part II - This idea came to me today as I was working with some amazing images of Andrii that I captured at Studio14 recently. Andrii is an acrobat and balancing artist working in the Las Vegas area. In this project I used Adobe Firefly to adjust the original image and turn it into a da Vinci drawing. In this project I used Adobe Firefly to adjust the original images and turn them into an illustrated drawing. Never too much of a good thing — featuring Little Wolf, a Kumeyaay Indigenous flautist, musician, and fire artist. This is a photo composite Illustration that I created from my original photo. This image was captured using an iPhone 17 Pro Max in combination with the Profoto camera app and synchronized strobes. Editing was completed using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop across iPad and desktop workflows. Capturing perfect flames with an iPhone can be a bit complex, so I generated the fire using Gemini 3 with Adobe Firefly to add the flames while preserving the spirit of the performance. Firefly Illustration — Linocut Experiment In today’s project, I experimented with an illustration technique called linocut. My goal was to transform one of my self-portraits into a convincing illustration. If you swipe to the left, you’ll see my original self-portrait along with several Adobe Stock reference images that I purchased to help define the visual style I wanted to achieve. I placed my original iPhone portrait as the primary reference image in Adobe Firefly on the web, and then added the linocut samples as secondary reference images to guide the artistic treatment. I was using the Gemini 3.1 model for this illustration. PROMPT: Apply the linocut technique from the second, third, and fourth reference images to the first photograph of the cowboy. Maintain the color in the cowboy’s face and shirt. Replace the background with a scientific diagram of a variety of cactus and cactus flowers. Give the background a sepia tone and create the cactus as line drawings. #adobefirefly #adobelightroommobile #linocutprint

con @dr_brown Russell Preston Brown Gracias a la fotografía hay personas que llegan a tu vida… y terminan significando mucho más que cualquier imagen. Hoy comparto el retrato de mi amigo Russell Preston Brown y, sinceramente, me siento muy afortunado de haberlo conocido. La fotografía me ha dado muchísimo en estos últimos años, pero si hay algo realmente valioso que me ha regalado son las personas. Y Russell es, sin duda, una de esas personas especiales que aparecen sin esperarlo y dejan huella. Siempre me hacía gracia porque me decía que yo estaba muy loco… cuando en realidad él tiene esa locura maravillosa y esa energía brutal que contagia a todo el mundo que tiene cerca. Creo que eso es algo muy difícil de encontrar hoy en día. Tiene ese “duende” especial que hace que cada momento con él sea inolvidable. Y algo que admiro muchísimo es la gente que le rodea. Porque al final las personas buenas atraen personas buenas, y cada vez que he coincidido con su equipo o con su círculo cercano he sentido exactamente eso. Este año además tendré la suerte de volver a verlo y tengo muchísimas ganas. Ojalá el destino nos vuelva a juntar muchas más veces para seguir creando, compartiendo ideas, riéndonos y disfrutando de eso que tanto nos apasiona… pero también simplemente de la amistad y de la compañía. Porque al final, más allá de cámaras y fotografías, lo realmente importante siempre son las personas. Qué suerte la mía de haberte conocido, amigo. Un abrazo enorme desde España y con muchas ganas de volver a verte. ❤️

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet up with Little Wolf again for an incredible photo shoot in Bombay Beach. She is such a stunning model to work with on a project like this one. I used the strobe to light up her face during the 4 second exposure. Editing was completed using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop across iPad and desktop workflows. I have enhanced portions of the spinning art using Generative Fill to add detail while preserving the spirit of the performance. Godzilla in Bombay Beach! — featuring Little Wolf, a Kumeyaay Indigenous flautist, musician, and fire artist who took the time this week to save the world. I had the opportunity to be in Bombay Beach when Little Wolf stopped Godzilla from emerging from the Salton Sea and destroying the world. We are so lucky that she was there at just the right moment. I captured this moment using an iPhone 17 Pro Max in combination with the Profoto camera app and synchronized strobes. Editing was completed using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop across iPad and desktop workflows.
