What a week! So grateful for everyone who made launching @hello.mavie into the world possible.
We kicked it off in very mavie fashion by launching into the App Store while I was hiding in a corner at a children’s museum while on a class trip with my middle son.
Got to see mavie all over the streets of NYC.
Had an incredible dinner by the amazingly talented and lovely @sophia_roe with 20 magical moms (shout out to my seat mates @itsamrit and @estherperelofficial . Loved chatting all things modern motherhood and founder life with you).
And thank you to @visitbloomfarm for the beautiful produce and gift bags.
Best part was coming home to my man and three babies for all the celebratory snuggles.
Proud. Exhausted. Happy. And ready to get to work!
Special thanks to @theno29@emilydinowitz@clemencepolesfarhang@carolinexfriedman ❤️
Mother’s Day gets wrapped up in pastels and brunch, but the truth is messier. For some, today is celebration. For others, it’s grief. For the mother you lost, the child you’re trying for, the baby who didn’t stay, the version of this you imagined.
You can feel gratitude and heartbreak in the same breath. Joy and rage. Love and overwhelm. That’s motherhood.
So while I hope you feel celebrated today with all the flowers and sticky-fingered hugs, most importantly, I hope you shower yourself with self-love, forgiveness, and grace.
You are enough. You’re exactly where you need to be.
And you are doing the most difficult job in the most amazing way. And you should feel damn proud of that.
Our founder, @dr.sarabloom , created Mavie to be the support system she once needed and the one every mom deserves. Real tools for real moments, and a community of women right there with you through it all. Live in the App Store!
Happy May! Spring is springing…and thank goodness for that.
Mavie launches next week. Full days of work, field trips, little league, packing lunches and finishing touches on the app.
My mental health needs this sunshine, flowers, and birds chirping.
Founder Mom Life.
Brainstorming while breastfeeding, late night emails while kids sleep soundly next to you, meetings while little ones nap on you. It’s a lot at once, but wouldn’t have it any other way.
