Behind every bill, policy, and government decision is a real person — a parent struggling with rising costs, a senior choosing between medication and basic needs, a student hoping for opportunity, or a small business owner working hard to stay open.
Over my 10 years of governance experience, I have contributed to policy development across healthcare (including Affordable Care Act frameworks), large-scale international development initiatives (including World Bank–funded programs), and education systems (including College Board–related policy work). My focus has always been on public wellbeing, guided by one central question: how does this policy improve lives?
Too often, people feel forgotten after elections are over. Politics becomes business as usual, while residents feel unheard and disconnected from decisions that affect their everyday lives, and tax dollars are spent without clear benefit to the community. That is why accountability and transparency matter. Leadership should not be about titles or political ambition — it should be about people, listening, honesty, and showing up consistently for the community.
We have seen what happens when public office becomes more about the next political move than long-term service to the people — elected officials hosting listening sessions but not truly listening, and tax dollars spent on mailers instead of maintenance and community priorities.
Our residents deserve better. District 4 deserves stable, ethical, and people-centered leadership that remains committed to the community long after campaign season ends.
That is why I am running for Prince George’s County Council District 4. I’m not running for a title — I’m running because I care deeply about our families, neighborhoods, and future. I believe leadership means being present, accessible, accountable, and always asking one simple question: “How does this help the people we were elected to serve?”
— Juliet Agocha, PhD.
I truly enjoy answering questions and having real conversations about the issues that impact our everyday lives—especially when it comes to making sure our tax dollars are working for the people.
One of the key concerns I addressed was how we can attract more businesses to Prince George’s County and keep them. It’s not just about growth—it’s about creating jobs, supporting our local economy, and making smart investments that benefit everyone in our community.
Thank you to Prince George’s County Young Democrats for hosting this District 4 candidate forum. These conversations matter, and they help move our community forward. Thank you for having me.

Today, I’m at the Maryland State House advocating for early childhood education and the teachers who make it possible. I am advocating for families, parents and teachers who work tirelessly every single day. As a mother, I know how important a strong start is—and I’m committed to making sure every child and every educator no matter their zip code gets the support they deserve.
Hope you can join us on our next Advocacy Day at the State House.

Always a great joy to volunteer at Fountain of Life Ministries. There’s nothing more rewarding than showing up for our community and helping families in need.
This time, over 400 families were supported, and it was a blessing to be part of it. Thank you to Pastor John for the invitation and for the amazing work you do to uplift our community. My heart is always full whenever I have the opportunity to serve. 🙏🏾

Today, while going from car to car and engaging with our residents, I was able to register two new voters on the spot. What made the moment even more meaningful was that they recognized me from our Annual Autism Awareness events. We didn’t have to pause the momentum—everything was done right there, in less than five minutes. It was a simple reminder that when you show up consistently in your community, trust is built, relationships grow, and civic participation follows naturally.
This campaign is about people, connection, and making sure every voice is heard. I will be honored to earn your vote on June 23.

My daughter, Angel, continues to make us proud on the Principal Honor Roll with a 4.0 GPA—she’s top 2 in her 7th grade class. She’s also a TAG (TALENTED AND GIFTED) student. Her hard work reminds me why I fight for our children to have every opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
Prince George’s County schools must never be the first place we cut funding when budgets are tight. School funding is essential, and our children’s programs must be protected and prioritized. As your next councilwoman, I will ensure these investments are protected and never treated as an afterthought—because every child deserves access to the same opportunities and more.

Back-to-back canvassing, no days off — but hearing directly from residents reminds me why this journey matters. Our community deserves leadership that shows up, listens, and works.
One thing I’ve noticed after talking with residents is that many ask for extra flyers so they can help spread the word to their neighbors, friends, and family. That kind of grassroots support means everything. It shows people are ready for leadership that is genuine, present, accessible, and focused on the community.

For over a decade, I have worked across different sectors — education, healthcare, and community development — helping shape policies that improve everyday lives. I believe government should work for everyone, not just a connected few or decisions made behind closed doors.
Our community deserves transparent, people-centered leadership that listens, serves, and delivers. That is why this 2026 election matters so much.
I hope you will join me on June 23 in this fight for a government that truly works for the people — not for a few, not based on relationships, not based on connections, but for everyone. We all pay heavy taxes, and we deserve to see that investment reflected in our schools, services, and communities.

I lead by listening—deeply, intentionally, and without rushing to respond. Because in every conversation, there is wisdom. In every concern, there is truth. And in every person, there is something worth understanding before anything else is decided.
When I listen, I’m not just hearing your words—I’m learning what matters most to YOU, so my leadership stays grounded in your needs. And that’s why I write the best policies—I take what I hear in kitchens, churches, schools, and community spaces and turn it into action that reflects lived experience, not assumptions. Because when people are truly heard, the solutions we create don’t just look good on paper—they work in real life.

Yesterday, I spent time with our seniors for a post Mother’s Day celebration, and my heart is still full 🩷. The smiles, stories, pioneer moments, laughter, and wisdom shared were a powerful reminder of why community matters so deeply. It also reaffirmed something great in me — the importance of continuing to honor, support, and uplift our seniors, who have given so much to our families and communities over the years. Thank you to my lovely sister Nicole for inviting me to be part of this impactful District 4 Mother’s Day initiative for our seniors. 💐
