The best lectures never feel like lectures.
Teaching and mentorship have always been a two-way exchange for me.
I get as much energy from the room as I put into it.
And doing it in Bangalore, where so much of my own journey started, made it even better.
I was warned that a theory-heavy session wouldn’t land. So we skipped the usual format and I turned it into a real, hands-on conversation with a little bit of masala.
What was meant to be a quick Mumbai → Bangalore in-and-out turned into a 3+ hour session. No breaks. No clock-watching. Just questions, ideas, and energy in the room.
I only realised how long it had been when the windows went from bright Bengaluru sunshine to twilight.
Sharing a short clip here with student feedback from the session.
The vlog from this trip is coming soon.

What happens when the meaning of the “doctor” title begins to shift?
In this thought-provoking conversation, Dr. Elson reflects on what it truly means to become a doctor in India—beyond the title, the years of investment, and the harsh return on investment many don’t talk about. He unpacks how medicine shaped his mindset, why doctors are often viewed as human capital rather than entrepreneurs, and the stark difference between failure in medicine and failure in business.
This episode explores money, identity, and the quiet realization that career pivots don’t always arrive as dramatic breakthroughs—but as slow, rational reckonings.

Betrayed, broke, but never beaten.
Abhay Tandon is the General Partner and founder of TID Ventures and just yesterday crossed 100k subscribers on YouTube.
But rewind to a decade ago, and he had been stranded in France with no job in hand and not even enough money for a flight back.
He fought his way back to become the Head of Innovation working across GCC (Global Capability Centers) of brands like Target, Lowe’s and AB InBev.
Just when he thought he had made it, disaster struck again. A venture with a long-term friend turned into a nightmare.
In this episode, we peel back the layers of all those stories, experiences and what made Abhay who he is.
If you feel like you’ve hit rock bottom, his story proves you can still build an empire.
We helped Coca-Cola make AI posters! 🥤
8k pixel-perfect outputs with less than a couple of minutes with no room for mistakes! And they called it “FANTA”-STIC! 😍
Hey Elson! Can you help us make these?”
“Should be doable... let me figure it out!”
(Say yes. Figure it out. Execute. That’s the process.)
They needed samples. I sat down for two hours, sent them over, and the deal was done. Next thing I know, I am on a flight to Guwahati.
The project was interesting:
📍 New territory (Guwahati).
🚀 High-stakes corporate event.
🪄 Integrating AI art on a massive scale.
But then came the real pressure. I had to work with their top leadership on the fly. Only a few minutes to get approval. And the output had to be pixel-perfect...it was going up on a massive 8K resolution screen..
It was a packed trip but we painted it red!
We kept joking about things being “Fancy” the whole time. The “Fancy Bazaar” we visited, the fancy gala setup...
But the best moment was when that “Fancy” turned into “FANTA-STIC” (which is exactly what the client called the work).
I even captured their honest reaction at the end of the video.
If you want to see what a high-pressure creative project looks like behind the scenes, give this a watch.

When you analyze the success stories of young founders, you usually find they are playing one of two games.
Some look like they are playing Blackjack, relying on luck and timing. Others, like Anubhav, are playing Chess ♟️

I was a hyper kid running everywhere. The rush. The fun. Looking cool. Then came an award in my first year…they told me to be in my best uniform, sweaty palms, racing heart, pure awe. That’s when it changed from fun to athletics. I didn’t know 20 years later, I’d go speechless again. But for the complete opposite reason.
.
.
.
Between these two trophies was a blur. I watched people I used to lap with my hands tied to the back (I did it to show off)…leave me behind. Lost races by inches. Life-changing ones. Switched sports to try and use what speed I had left in me. Then my dream coach gave me a chance. Someone had put in a word and he saw something too I think. Old rivals started noticing I hadn’t stopped. Slowly, I brought myself back to being invincible again. I even stopped collecting medals. Didn’t want to get attached anymore after how much they mattered before. (I used to polish them with baking soda and vinegar)
Final year of college. The same award again. Full circle. But when I walked up this time? No sweaty palms. No racing heart...
Just calm. Just understanding. I could finally see the whole movie, not just a scene. Every loss, every comeback, every moment I quit.
I now live in days and decades. All in. Completely present. But those months and years between the big moments? The ups and downs, the noise, the narrative. I stopped letting them get under my skin.
Someone told me 30 is when you’re officially done being young but I’ve never felt more like a child.
This year…I’m hoping for stories that will never fit into sentences. Stories where I’m just smiling, and only I know why.
In this episode, I decode the journey of Anubhav Agarwal, a man who seemingly did everything right.

Today, he is a Bootstrapped & Profitable Founder, proving that you don’t need VC money to build a successful company if you have the right foundation.
We break down his strategic roadmap: How he treated his career like a product, the specific skills he learned scaling startups from 0-to-1, and exactly how he transitioned from a star employee to an independent business owner.
If you are ambitious, stuck in a 9-to-5, or dreaming of your own startup, this is the blueprint you’ve been looking for.
