Sophie started her social work degree with Ivy in her tummy. 7 years later you finished it with three kids, a household to run and a GPA of 8 from start to finish.
There were moments when you wanted to stop. I saw those moments. Every single time, you got back up and kept going. You have been the rock of our family. You chose one of the most demanding professions there is. That doesn’t surprise me at all. Showing up for people is just what you do. Our kids are going to grow up watching their mum do hard things and not quit. Congratulations on becoming a Registered Social Worker. So incredibly proud of you. We love you🤍

Happiness is finally your 91yr ( next week) Mum getting to see you at work . Mums front yard was perfect spot to rig for some driving plates shots we were doing just around the corner in Papamoa. Our last set up after an amazing 6 weeks making something a wee bit special with a very special and extraordinary cast and crew. Mum is the one who got me to apply to tv way back and then my journey started a month after 17b’day heading to Wgtn with backpack on my Honda 125 as a film camera trainee. She knows almost every show I’ve shot and can even name many of the people I worked with along the way. Love my superwoman Mum. Continuing to be an inspiration to so many.
