Day 19/20 of my Daily Colour Grading challenge! 🎨🎥
[Footage by John Brawley ACS. He retains full international copyright. Contact him directly for permission to use or share.]
Another special clip and a special thank you to John Brawley for allowing me to use his footage in my portfolio. I absolutely loved this piece of footage, with a lot of dynamic range to work with, I had to lock in and get creative. Yes less is more, but I wanted to see just how I could manipulate this.
I had so much fun working with professional grade footage and I look forward to showcasing you other works of John Brawley!

Day 18/20 of my Daily Colour Grading challenge! 🎨🎥
Thank you @lisakeeks_ for the opportunity unity to video your B2B event.
Another chance to be able to work with low light. Using the Lumix S5II, I really did love the image displayed. Although it may be time to get a monitor because I had noticed some grain in my footage when colour grading. Learning more about ISO, exposure etc is paramount. But it was nothing that noise reduction couldn't handle.
This was done in DaVinci Resolve, focusing mainly on recovering information, and making colours pop subtly without ruining the footage.
What I enjoyed here is maintaining skin colours.

Day 9/20 of my daily Colour Grading Challenge! 🎨🎥
Slighlty more simple today! I finally got to put my small rig to good use!
Today I was focusing more on colour matching. I have a long way to go in perfecting the craft, but steady practice shall prevail!! What I was very impressed with however, was how well the magic mask was able to track my locs!
This was done in DaVinci resolve, focusing, mainly on using the magic mask to brighten up the darks of my hair.

A special clip and a special thank you to @johnbrawley for allowing me to use his footage in my portfolio. I absolutely loved this piece of footage. With a lot of dynamic range to work with, I had to lock in and get creative. Yes, less is more, but I wanted to see just how I could manipulate this. I especially love using warm tones, and power windows to make the subject pop!
I always played around with the colour slice tool to help add some slight saturation to the model's skin tone.
I had so much fun working with professional grade footage and I look forward to showcasing you other works of John Brawley!

Day 7 of my Colour Grading Challenge 🎨🎥
Attempting this Challenge has given me a lot of appreciation for all content creators out there who post regularly! It isn't easy! So I saulte you 🫡.
Another clip from @reilin that I decided to grade. Don't worry, there are more clips from him, aswell as my own clips to come. But also some very professional clips that I am very proud of!
