Such a special day presenting Ellen Poe to librarians at the Hachette offices in NYC today. 20 years and this is my first time at such an event. I had a blast, learned so much about other upcoming books, and got a surprise ukulele concert from actress and author Kate Micucci.

it was so much fun meeting the team and talking up Ellen Poe. Publishing can be a hard business but there are sometimes days that make it all worth it.

My Nana would be so happy to see me in head to toe crochet. This cat stitch "Taylor" dress is my own creation and proved a big hit at Maryland Sheep & Wool. (even though it's cotton).
