I am insanely thrilled and honored to announce: Last month, I was awarded, "Excellence in Artistry" for my 3D Environment work on Hyper Light Breaker, and current work at Self Hunter Studio as Art Director by Black In Gaming at GDC Festival of Gaming.
It is such a huge honor to have been nominated, and won, alongside such incredible industry legends. Congrats to and from extraordinary folks like Lisette Montgomery Jarryd Huntley, Khleo Thomas, Don Daglow and more.
I went into this industry because I wanted to tell impactful stories, create artworks that inspire, and foster communities that uplift the next generation - and it brought me to tears that when introduced, my artistic accomplishments matched my community impact + work in this industry so far.
Thank you to a Black In Gaming, the folks who nominated and voted for me, our wonderful communities, and the insane support of my colleagues that wanted to see me flourish beyond expectations.
There's more good work to do. Let's continue to uplift while we climb.

I am absolutely honored to announce that I have been nominated for, "Excellence in Artistry" for the 2026 BIG Awards during GDC Festival of Gaming!
This is my first award nomination for my artistic work in this industry, and it feels truly surreal to be nominated alongside such an absolutely stellar, legendary cohort of nominees that have genuinely helped shape this industry.
Thank you to Heart Machine - for believing in a young environment artist five years ago, basically fresh out of college; and allowing me to not only contribute to some early artistic direction, but also have such a huge impact on my first shipped game in this industry.
I entered this industry not only to create impactful art or be a part of compelling stories, but to uplift while I climb, in every way I can, each day. It is my goal to continue fostering spaces, sharing resources, and more, to create a better industry for the current and next generation. I'm where I am today, because the folks before have done just that.
