Na stejné datum jako my kanadské punks Puffer měli Hluch Crew domluvený koncert chorvatských post-punkerů Koridor (Croatia’s best kept secret, hypnotic and repetitive feedback driven post-punk influenced by the 80s ex-Yu punk scene - La Vida Es Un Mus) a premiéru pražské superkapely Kien (členové Mörghuul, Beton, Scoop a Sněť!). Spojit obě akce dohromady se víc než nabízelo, díky čemuž můžete už v pátek 22.5. vidět v Bike Jesus tyhle skvosty pohromadě. Sledujte následující info o časech, koncert bude začínat docela brzo.

out tomorrow, Montreal’s finest rockers PUFFER are set to release two cassette editions of the first demo/EP comp and their full length “Street Hassle”.

Puffer reviennent à Genève après un des concerts les plus intenses de 2025 dans notre cugé, la cave de la Sportive. Pour celles et ceux qui ont eu le malheur de louper cette merveilleuse soirée, vous aurez une chance de vous rattraper, pour les autres vous savez déjà que c’est immanquable.
Puffer envoie un cocktail brûlant de punk et de rock’n’roll, porté par une énergie live qui ne laisse personne indemne. Depuis leur première cassette Live and Die in the City en 2022, le groupe enchaîne les scènes avec une urgence contagieuse et une soif de décibels. Leur EP sorti chez Roachleg Records en 2023 confirme leur puissance, et ils ne comptent pas s’arrêter là : tournées aux quatre coins des États-Unis et du Canada. Leur premier album « Street Hassle » sorti chez Static Shock Records est un des, si ce n’est pas le meilleur album du genre de 2025. Sur scène, Puffer, c’est le chaos maîtrisé, le genre de groupe qui te donne envie de tout lâcher et de foncer dans la fosse.
𝙑.𝙀.𝙍. 𝟴𝟯 // 𝘰𝘪 𝘏𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘦 - 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘺
V.E.R 83 c’est de la Oi!, Hardcore frontale et pessimiste, écho résigné des charniers du front. C’est clairement pas les sommets enneigés et la douceur de la nature environnante qui à inspiré la création du trio tout droit venu de la capital savoyarde : Chambéry. Ca sent la poudre a cannon entre les riffs de guitare acéré et le battement nerveux des rythmes aussi tendu qu’une chenille de char d’assaut. Ce groupe ne passe pas par quatre chemin sur les quatre titre de leur première démo sortie l’an dernier, on attends avec impatience de les voir pour la première fois sur scène à Genève.

🔨Puffer sa vracajú do Bratislavy! Už 21. mája zahrajú v bruchu veľryby, na malom stejdži podpalubia korábu Pink Whale. Zavítajú k nám s ich prvým dlhohrajúcim albumom Street Hassle, ktorý vydali v júni minulého roku. Album bol produkovaný, nahraný a zmixovaný priamo samotnou kapelou a vydaný pod Statich Shock Records a Roachleg Records. Za nás len dodáme, že je nasratý, surový a poctivý - presne taký, ako má punk byť!

Montreal’s PUFFER is back with a slab of lumpen punk’n’roll which offers a little more nuance and intrigue than your usual troglodyte Oi!-tinged hardcore. Vocals sound not too dissimilar to what I’d imagine it’d be like if a rottweiler learned to sing. So much groove here with the tambourine flourishes and guitar solos, a bit like if MC5 cut their hair
and had a wash.��
Waterschade is a young punk band from Haarlem who do not like patriarchy, racism and, of course, capitalism. They express this with tight bass lines, hard riffs and lots of screaming. With a mix of hardcore punk and riot grrrl, a moshpit and fun show is guaranteed!��
The Protos are a primitive, fuelled-by-hate garage punk trio from Amsterdam It's a KBD slab of in-your-face, loud and stupid perfect punk.

These are not the places you’ll find rock and roll. This is Quebec: A different sensory perception of rock and roll. A heightened awareness of the highest highs and the lowest lows. This is Belgium with snowmobiles, Catholic Texas, Ugly France. All the crumbling highways, the coldest beers, and the loudest joints. Guitars do different things in Quebec. PUFFER shimmy across the invisible barricade between Montreal and the rest of the world not just as another crop of punks but as the great descendants and inheritors of modern greats like INEPSY’s “Rock and Roll Babylon” and ANNIHILATION TIME’s “II.” Loud, brash, unrelenting.
