As we evolve into spring we are pleased to provide new menu item, new formats, and new outdoor seating.
When we started Downstate 2.5 years ago on Lander street we were a cafe with some food. We have since moved into more of a restaurant setting with an incredible coffee/beverage program, a natural evolution with our backgrounds from NyC restaurants. We love this food and want to keep the honesty and simplicity of Mexican cuisine, while being be able to push boundaries of expectations and presentation. We are honored to have an incredible FOH team that makes guest feel welcomed and taken care of. We have seen such success with table service on the weekends and we want to really lean into that to give the best experience possible with hospitality at the core of this movement.
Starting Friday May 1st we will have a new menu format, Table service 7 days a week, outdoor seating, and new menu items.
We hope you are as excited as we are and canāt wait to debut this new set up. More great things to come.
