Both fish fell for a plum chartreuse down south lure supermodel in super skinny water. Surprisingly, we generally don’t catch a ton of big trout in skinny water at chandy. We have spent tons of time in skinny water in all conditions, but from what I’ve seen they just don’t spend a lot of time up there. That doesn’t mean we don’t try it every once in a while. You always have to keep an open mind on the water. Every day is a new day and a clean slate. Complacency is the enemy and curiosity is the key to success. The bite has been about as good as it gets with tons of trout in the 5 pound range. Stay tuned…

Talk about girth… this redfish definitely never skipped a meal. At 33 inches and 14lbs that’s a thick one for sure. Having the right gear really makes the fishing experience that much more enjoyable.
