my first released music since 2017 is out now! this one means a lot to me - I've put more work into this than any one project in my entire life. outside of producing dance music, every band project of mine has always come apart before or during recording, but not this time. i'm super proud of what we made.
we got to incorporate my wife's paintings, and we got everything mixed by one of my heroes, john davis from NERVE. we even got some bass hound records fam involved with slade templeton on mastering duties. plus i got to play BASS on a released recording - pretty wild!

life dream fulfilled. ever since I got Primus' Hallucino-Genetics DVD at a grocery store when I was 13 years old I've wanted to have a Carl Thompson bass made for me. in 2020 when everything was falling apart I decided to take the leap and contact Carl after deciding life was getting too short to dream.
just shy of 5 years from that initial contact, it's in my hands! Joe Kruse (Carls right hand) modeled the shape after my favorite CT and favorite Claypool bass - the antimatter bass, which saw the light of day for only a year or two around The Antipop album and tour at the turn of the century.
this thing absolutely rocks. huge thanks to Joe @mbjguitars and Carl for giving me the opportunity to get this sucker. happy halloween 🎃
