[MICA] 20250927 Last week, I had the opportunity to share and learn with @elizabeth_goodspeed and @natmshields . The workshop was truly enjoyable that I gained insights into how to use references and how the lifecycle of design mirrors that of fashion. Trends will always return, but they are expressed in many different ways. To apply them effectively, it’s important to continually enrich our own visual library. They also shared valuable tips on how to draw inspiration from references not simply to “copy” and “paste,” but to transform them into something meaningful. They also emphasized that understanding the history behind those references is essential for developing strong concepts. Cooking at @mica_gdmfa

[MICA] 2025 Life is about choosing, and I choose to keep following my “dream”. ✨ I don’t usually share much here, but today feels too special to stay quiet. I’ve just begun my MFA in Graphic Design & Curatorial Practice at the Maryland Institute College of Art @mica_gdmfa , and it still feels shy to say out loud. I’m excited to learn from amazing faculty like Jennifer Cole Phillips, Ellen Lupton, and Jeff Glendenning, along with visiting professors who bring such diverse perspectives. Grateful beyond words to my wonderful, talented mentors Lisa Maione, Shuang Wu, Eager Zhang, and Bei Hui, as well as my family and friends, your guidance and belief in me make this next step possible. 💛 So far, I already fell in love with MICA 🥰

[KCAI] “Interactive Poem - A School Project” In this school project, I created an interactive poem that explores the theme of immigration. The poem is about the beauty and power of the natural world, and the interface is designed to enhance the reading experience.
