Paris, February 22, 2026.
In the pouring rain, an unexpected scene unfolds in an alley near Place des Fêtes in Paris. In a ground-floor apartment with a garden, a team is bustling about like a beehive. On one side, dishes are being prepared and tasted; on the other, models are having their makeup done and getting dressed. This second day of shooting brings together Tsuyoshi Ozawa, invited for the occasion by Lotta Volkova, and 12 models of various nationalities, all involved in a surprising concept. A Japanese chef, a friend of Ozawa’s gallerist, prepares dishes chosen by each of the twelve participants. On the menu: Hor Mok Talay, from Thailand; a grilled fish dish served with Attiéké, a West African staple and red borscht, a classic Ukrainian dish. And much more. But what is the purpose? All these recipes were supervised by Ryoko Okamoto and approved by Japanese artist Tsuyoshi Ozawa, who has previously turned all the ingredients into “weapons”. Each recipe thus has its own“weapon” (made of vegetables or meat etc). Then every girl will be photographed with her “vegetable weapon.”
