You know when you say something to yourself but you really have no grounds for saying it...I did exactly that...I said James Blunt was not my cup of tea and I found him boring...dumb right?...well I only went and saw him perform didn’t I...actually I didn’t go specifically to see him I was supposed to be photographing Mad Yella but I missed their performance on account of an accident on the approach road to Rochester Castle.....James Blunt was the head line act that night....blimey what a tornado of energy he is...at one point my man literally nose dived into the audience...I was like dang.....a slew of words come to mind....energetic .....engaging....
witty....talented...accommodating...
humble...deep...poignant.....i know this has probably been said about him 100 times before...KMT am just gonna be a sheep ....JB ya Beautiful

What an EPIC Easter weekend.....I missed the boat on the BBE 30TH anniversary party (absolutely gutted) but managed to get to the Johnny Reckless birthday party (absolutely not gutted)....

A Client recently asked me 'Why are pictures needed?'...my WHY comes from an emotional, your story, my journey..... ya da ya da ya perspective.....I needed a more analytical WHY....so I asked my beloved Gemini....

Popped along to BBE Xmas party...its been a minute...
A young man called Kiran kindly held my bag whilst I assembled my camera...
The regulars were there sharing their love with hugs n kisses...there were many new faces I hadn't seen before....I get a little uneasy with new folks...they're not accustomed to my photography style...ive experienced aggressive responses before now....I get it though, in this day and age of the barely policed social media badlands that rob folks of privacy not everyone wants to be seen.....
I nearly blinded a lady called Alice with my flash...truth be told think I nearly blinded a few folks....Alice was sweet I explained my photography journey to her....yes Alice you are now part of my journey....
The gentleman carrying the pint of Guinness tried to cheers with me...he'd mistaken my flash with its diffuser as Guinness....I can see why....my flash stands upright with a white domed diffuser on top...
I got into convo with a clothing designer, shout out @hezaprints ....we were both wearing clothes designed by our selves....that was kinda cool.....
It was nice being back doing the kind of photography that makes my heart smile....

I rushed out the house forgetting to do my usual equipment checking ritual....lots on my mind and multiple places to be today.....I arrived at the venue, rummaged through my bag found the camera body and speed light...rummaged again and found only keys....my camera lens was missing likely at home enjoying a quiet night in its padded case... I think I am the worst photographer ever.....
Am sorry but not sorry coz in between taking a few snaps on my phone camera I got to bop to some on point music and I proper enjoyed myself....sorry I had to leave so early Colin.....
