next time, I’d keep the stems longer so it’s easier to hold draped over the arm

I was inspired by @budsieflorals to make a bridal bouquet with grass and I love it so much!!
It’s been so fun to experiment with foliage. Lovvve the sculptural forms you can create with the grass en masse
Also made a matching buttonhole (think it’s the best one I’ve ever made 🥹)

Another throwback
I started painting again!
I used to love art but lost creative confidence after choosing to do fine art at university. I promptly transferred to history of art after refusing to come up with bullshit cOnCePtS in my own practice 🙃
I then didn’t pick up a paint brush for a good few years until boredom kicked in during lockdown.
Another long gap without creating a thing until my bf found some canvas frames that had been discarded on the pavement near our house. I bought and stretched some fabric and then got cracking!
The colour scheme is inspired by @randompaintress and I think it works well as a background for flowers
