Founded by Polish designer Wiktoria Markiewicz, Dot Objects explores the quiet dialogue between material, colour and form. Working primarily with wood and steel, the studio creates objects that balance structural clarity with a warm, tactile presence, celebrating craftsmanship and small-scale production.
For Exploring Colour: Books on Display, we selected the Pine Grid Shelf in Pale Pink and the Mini Pine Grid Shelf in Radiant Yellow for their ability to frame books as both objects of knowledge and visual composition. The grid structure creates a rhythmic architectural backdrop for the display, while the colours introduce moments of lightness and contrast within the space. Radiant Yellow brings a luminous energy that echoes the historical exploration of colour in the books themselves, while Pale Pink offers a softer tonal counterpoint; together forming a contemporary colour dialogue between design, material and the language of books.
