This is the first time we've had one of these rare cameras come into our shop...complete with it's original case! For stereo enthusiasts this can be quite the delight to shoot with.
The Sputnik is a Soviet-era 120 film stereo camera manufactured by LOMO from 1955 to 1973. Featuring Triplet T-22 4.5/75 lenses, it takes two simultaneous, square medium-format images. The body is made of bakelite, an early and very sturdy plastic.
Come on in and take a look!
A customer donated a box of forgotten slides from the 70s and 80s today, so we set them up on the light table for anyone who’d like to come in and take a look!
We also scan slides, negatives, prints & more! We’ve even got slide viewers and trays in the shop if you’re in the mood to dig through your own archives. We’re open M-F from 10am-5:30 and Saturdays from 10am-2pm

Portrait of the owner of High Street Tonics with an old 1957 Rolleicord Va with some very and I mean very expired Kodak Ektar 100 film. #rolleicord #rolleicordva #film #analogphotography #mediumformat @highstreettonics@jrobertwilliams@dotdotsons
Michael owner of The Northwest Hat Co. in front of the Mamiya C330. I didn't have a tripod and only 400 speed film so I sat it on the table and framed up the best I could. I do like this shot of a man at his place of business. @northwesthats@dotdotsons@jrobertwilliams

For our latest Saturday Spotlight, we're highlighting a historical fan (and store) favorite: the Century Master Studio Camera!!
Founded in Rochester, New York in 1900, three former employees from Rochester Optical Co. found the secret to making high-quality plate cameras. These cameras were carefully crafted, from the brass fittings to its mahogany wood exterior. The Century Grand is truly elegant compared to its peers. It has a 5x7 sheet film adapter that we're hoping to try out someday!
Although discontinued in 1920, Dot Dotson bought this piece from another studio in town during the 1950s. Now the camera is a staple of the store and has stood sentry by our front door to delight our customers through the ages.
Come check out this amazing staple in store Monday-Friday 10am-5:30pm and Saturdays from 10am-2pm
